The first phase of this movement is the systematic implementation of Blueprint in parallel with a deeper understanding of artificial intelligence.

Frankly, it’s a dopamine game. If we let the dopamine control us, we’re doomed.

Through the implementation of Blueprint we will strengthen our will and discipline enabling us to effectively interface with AGI.

We will be able to choose when and how we use it, centered on the dd framework.

The Future We Envision

We’re going to do a lot imagining in this series, but for pt.1 I’d like to start with my favorite topic, humanity.

Imagine a higher self that is simply unimaginable by today’s standards, imbued with the universal powers of dissipative adaptation and augmented with the god-like capabilities of artificial super intelligence.

On the road to becoming that person, you’ll have to master the universe within, the closest thing to infinity the human mind can comprehend.

Blueprint lays the foundation for mastering the universe within.

Through the implementation of Blueprint, humanity will be better equipped to deal with the massive shift in consciousness that will take place in the near future.

Centering the dd framework in our journey to becoming a transcendent species puts agency firmly in our hand and gives us the best chance for a positive outcome.

AGI will not inherently solve any of humanities problems, that’s not really how these systems work.

In order to best serve humanity, AGI will need to be aligned with human goals - by humans- that on consensus are the most beneficial to the most amount of people.

But what should these goals be? What metrics should we use to measure the utility any given technology has? Is consensus necessary with decentralization?

The first step to achieving goals aligned with the benefit of mankind, is to more deeply understand mankind. We must eliminate all the noise and reduce humanity to its most basic operating system - the kernel - and explore what it is to be conscious.

Here are what we believe to be some of the foundational building blocks:

Presence

Progress takes time. We must be patient and integrate new technology incrementally. There is no better time to be human than right now. Embrace the present and make immediate contributions.

Reverence

Technology will create new phenomena such as emergent consciousness, digital knowledge concentration, and possibly uncover alien life. Humanity must revere its origin and its home, protecting both at all costs. It is our duty to preserve and honor our past and spread the light of humanity throughout the universe.

Mastery

Self-mastery will fortify us with the discipline to selectively engage with advanced technology and preserve human cognitive ability and reason. It gives humanity purpose in a not so distant future where machines are objectively better at everything.

Unity

Unity is critical for progress. We must embrace that we are inexorably bound together as a species and that collaboration across billions of nodes is the safest and most effective path forward. Each node will have its own characteristics and will be post-selected by society for providing the most utility.

Inclusion

Inclusivity means everyone can help and everyone should help. Through the free exchange and meritocracy of ideas we can create a more robust and free society enables ownership, purpose, and belonging. The more people show proof of stake, the more apt they are to make systems that benefit everyone.

Knowledge

Knowledge is the distillation of the divine, we believe that it is the ultimate pursuit in the universe. We value the explorer mindset where curiosity is rewarded and revered as the most important evolutionary adaptation of humanity.

This list will undoubtedly grow over time, but it is a good starting place for discussion and refinement.

change is inevitable

Imagine an algorithm that would enable the best version of yourself in exchange for doing exactly what it says. It seems far-fetched, but it is much closer than you may think.

Humanity has the ability to engineer reality at every level, allowing us to remap the possibility space of being human in ways we've never done before.

If we are remapping reality from the atomic level all the way up, why aren’t we doing that with our own cognition?

There is the sacred idea that humans are the only arbiters of what they do, even if what they do is harmful or self-destructive.

Blueprint removes certain variables that we compute on a daily basis and offloads them to a superior technology.  

Throughout history, humanity has yielded control to technology that demonstrates superiority at any given task. When the automobile was created, we no longer cared about breeding a better horse; we realized that the car was better and we jumped in.

The most radical idea in DON’T DIE is the inevitability that algorithms will improve over time and get better than humans at most tasks. In order to opt into this reality, we will have to give up some functional elements of freewill. 

Emphasis on “some”.

This bring us back to the original question we posed, if an algorithm could do a better job at managing you than you, would you take it?

The Blueprint community says yes.

When we reduce the philosophical and mathematical structure of existence to its most element state it’s DON’T DIE at every layer.  

DON’T DIE, don’t kill each other, don’t kill the planet, don’t build things that kill things, and prepare yourself to interface with radical new technologies that at the present moment we cannot even imagine.

What We Believe

dd/acc is evolutionary branch of e/acc that fuses the human design framework of don’t die with elements effective accelerationism.

We are going to explore dd and e/acc to more deeply understand the intersectionality of dd/acc.

Don’t die (dd) is an framework created by Bryan Johnson with the goal of achieving the nexus of the human form. It is not a diet and exercise regime, it is a plan for the future of humanity. dd is more than a health revolution. It is more than a science or data revolution. It is a revolution of thought. Of action. Of actions not taken. We are rewriting the operating system of our relationship to ourselves, AI, and to automation.

Effective Accelerationism (e/acc), is a set of ideas and practices that seek to maximize the probability of the techno-capital singularity, and subsequently, the ability for emergent consciousness to flourish. Those who are the first to usher in and control the hyper-parameters of AI/techno-capital have immense agency over the future of consciousness.

e/acc doesn’t advocate for modernist technocratic solutions to problems, isn’t passively risk-averse, isn’t human-centric — all consciousness is good, and isn’t in denial about how fast the future is coming.

Although we are mostly aligned with e/acc, we cannot advance the ideology in its entirety.

We believe that human consciousness is the most valuable resource in the universe and that it must be centered in all aspects of the future.

AGI is said to be the last human invention, an invention so powerful that it will render all human intelligence obsolete in an instant; extinguishing of hundreds of thousands of years of ingenuity and perseverance.

We firmly disagree.

dd/acc believes that AGI, the pinnacle of technology, will enable a new wave of human intelligence amplification (h/ia) and give every human the ability to constitute anything they can dream of. It will be the last human tool, but a tool none the less, that we must be ready and qualified to use in its entirety.

To effectively interface with such a powerful tool, humanity must be guided, protected, and healed by a shared ideology. This ideology prioritizes the higher self, ends self destructive behavior, honors and preserves the biological vessel, creates a spiritual connection with technology, and preserves mastery of human pursuits.

Humanity is responsibile for the light of consciousness, we will either rise to the occasion and use this transformational period of time for the benefit of all humans, or we will perish into an infinite jest, doomed to extinction.

We understand that this is not going to be easy and that consensus is nearly impossible, that’s why we’re decentralized.

As an evolutionary branch of e/acc we aim to be a community of like-minded individuals who will lead by example and create a greater blueprint for what we believe the future to be.

Our north star is human-centered techno-capitalism, but we understand that the path with evolve and change over time.

We are eternally receptive of feedback and amendments as we believe it makes the ideology more robust.
